Northridge advises Atairos on Aston Villa deal

Northridge, alongside Davis Polk, advised strategic investment company Atairos on its agreement to become a minority partner in V Sports S.C.S, the owner of Aston Villa Football Club and Aston Villa Women’s Football Club.

The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval, including from the Premier League.

This transaction builds on Northridge’s market-leading experience of advising on investments in sport.  In the past 18 months, in addition to this deal,  Northridge has advised on the sale of Chelsea FC, Farhad Moshiri’s agreement to sell his controlling stake in Everton FC and the sale of AC Milan.

The Northridge deal team included Ian Lynam, Mike Herbert, Jamie Feldman, Scott Treleaven, Ed Dickinson, Emily Soilleux, Oliver Levett, India Gommo and Laurence Daly.
