Sale of Chelsea FC
Northridge advised Chelsea FC on its sale to an investment group led by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital in May 2022.
The sale represents one of the most valuable transactions in sports history and was completed on an accelerated timeline under unprecedented scrutiny.
Northridge led the external legal team advising the Club which also consisted of Simmons & Simmons LLP and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP.
The Northridge team was led by Ian Lynam and included Jonathan Ellis, Jon Walters, Mike Herbert, Hannah Brunskill, Will Moir, Kingsley Boateng, Scott Treleaven, James Norrey, Joanna Gibson, Oliver Platts-Levett and Lara Curtis.
