Northridge promotions 2024

Northridge has today, 2 April 2024, announced the promotion of Sarah Boulton and George Willis to partner, Hannah Brunskill to Counsel and Philippa Scott to Managing Associate.

Sarah, a litigator specialising in the sports sector, has played a key role in some of the biggest disputes and sports regulatory matters of the last year, including arbitration proceedings brought by various agencies in relation to the domestic implementation of FIFA’s reformed agent regulations and acting for The FA on the ongoing major restructure of the Women’s Super League and Championship (and the transition to a ‘NewCo’).

George has cemented his reputation as a leading commercial, technology and data lawyer in sport.  He has acted on some of the most significant sponsorship deals in sport including acting for Spotify on its revolutionary deal with FC Barcelona, and he takes a leading role in the firm’s Northridge TRACK initiative, working with high growth technology businesses and rightsholders across the sector.

Hannah specialises in large scale multi-party litigation and complex investigations in the sports sector.  Highlights include advising The FA with respect to the Hillsborough inquests and the Sheldon review into allegations of historic abuse within football, and acting for sports teams in complex High Court and arbitration proceedings.  Hannah also serves as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer and has contributed greatly to the success of Northridge since its launch in 2017.

Philippa Scott has been promoted to Managing Associate in the firm’s market-leading corporate team.
