Northridge advises Two Circles on the acquisition of TRM Partners
Northridge, together with lead counsel Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, advised Two Circles and its owner, Bruin Sports Capital, on the acquisition of TRM Partners from its founders.
TRM is the world’s leading independent sports rights-sales business. Since 2014, TRM has been responsible for $700m in deals for sports properties including the NFL, UEFA, ICC, Chelsea FC and AC Milan.
The transaction also included the acquisition of a majority stake in RugbyX, the World Rugby-approved 5v5 format of the sport founded by TRM and debuted in 2019 at London’s O2 Arena.
The Northridge team included Jon Walters, Mike Herbert and Scott Treleaven (Corporate), Jamie Feldman (Employment), and Tom Avis and James Norrey (Regulatory).
