Northridge advises on acquisition of MF Sports (formerly Wasserman Boxing)
Northridge advised the management team and new strategic investor on the acquisition of Wasserman Boxing, now rebranded as MF Sports.
The transaction sees promoters Kalle and Nisse Sauerland, together with a strategic European investor, take control of the former Wasserman Boxing business and relaunch it under the MF Sports brand. MF Sports will operate a multi-platform sports promotion model, with its traditional boxing operations to be known as MF Pro and a significant stake held in crossover boxing brand Misfits Boxing, both supported by long term broadcast arrangements with DAZN.
The Northridge team included Victoria Scopes, Ian Lynam, George Willis, Kingsley Boateng and Laurence Daly. Northridge worked in conjunction with German counsel, Schneiders Von Arnim.
