Embedded in the rise of a SportsTech superstar
Performance analysis is an area of major growth within the sports sector and the Northridge team have been embedded in the rise of Northern Ireland-based STATSports, which signed a $1.5bn deal with US Soccer in March 2018.
Under the deal, STATSports’ athlete monitoring devices will be worn by four million footballers in the US, enabling the governing body to identify talent more accurately and give players, coaches and support teams access to rich data that can better inform their training and recovery plans.
STATSports is the world leader in GPS player tracking, with a client list including the majority of Premier League clubs, Juventus, England Rugby and teams in the NBA and NFL. Northridge lawyers have guided this exciting, fast-growth SportsTech business to meet the challenges it has faced during its rapid expansion.
