Star athletes invest in technology firm
Northridge partner Ian Lynam acted for a consortium of high-profile sporting ambassadors in a $2m equity investment in Grabyo, a major global clip-sharing company.
Former Arsenal FC team-mates Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas and Robin van Persie were part of the group, along with NBA star Tony Parker. The quartet agreed as part of the deal to provide ambassadorial services to Grabyo.
The London-based start-up allows broadcasters and rights-holders to edit clips from live footage and share them with an audience of billions on social media platforms.
The Northridge team has a strong track record in advising on innovative structures to facilitate athlete investment in the technology sector.
