Integrity in Tennis

The Independent Review of Integrity in Tennis was commissioned in 2016 after a report from the BBC and BuzzFeed alleged “evidence of widespread match-fixing at the top level of world tennis”.

Northridge were appointed as solicitors and secretariat to a three-person Independent Review Panel (Adam Lewis QC, Beth Wilkinson and Marc Henzelin) appointed by the organisations responsible for governing tennis.

Our team assisted the panel in gathering evidence from more than 200 stakeholders across the sport and in producing, in April 2018, the Interim Report and Record of Evidence and Analysis. Following publication of the Interim Report, our team supported the panel through the consultation period, which included analysis of approximately 600 pages of submissions from more than 30 interested parties.  Northridge supported the panel in producing the Final Report, which was published in December 2018.

"Since their inception Northridge have established themselves as the leading sports law firm in the country. They are friendly but with a polished corporate style that is always professional but engaging."
